Are we still owned and run by the original family? |

The company is still wholly owned and run by the family. Currently A.W.Lymn’s great grandson and great grandaughter, Nigel and Jackie are running the firm, great great grandchildren Matthew, Chloe and Ben have recently joined the business. |

Where is A.W.Lymn based? |

We have a network of 22 branch offices serving Nottingham, Derby and District, and our head office is now based at Robin Hood House. This site was the original location of our stables, and is just a few yards from the premises acquired by the firm in 1915. |

Should a death be registered before the funeral arrangements can be made? |
| A: |
It is possible to start making the arrangements for a funeral before the death has been registered, but it is often advisable for this to be done before any details are confirmed. Our advice to all would be to contact one of our qualified funeral directors at the first oportunity to gain their specific advice for your situation. |

Can I make provisions for my funeral before the time comes? |

Yes. At A.W.Lymn we offer two main types of pre-paid funeral plans. The Pre-paid Funerals link under The Family Funeral Service menu on the left of this site will guide you to information regarding both of these schemes. |
