A.W.Lymn Stapleford was a part of the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service until October 2003, but is now part of A.W.Lymn The Family Funeral Service. During 2007 the premises were renovated and are now of an exceptionally high standard with a family room and large Chapel of Rest on site.
Rebecca Diamond, a local lady who started her professional career by training at this office, is now the manager is available from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, and 09:00 to 12:30 Saturday. At all other times the calls are answered personally at head office in Notitngham.

As many of our clients may be aware, just over a year ago it was discovered that one of our trusted members of staff had been stealing money from the company to fund her own lifestyle. Jane Lamont was subsequently dismissed and given a suspended jail sentence, and the full story can be seen on the Nottingham Evening Post website by clicking on the title above.
The directors and all the staff at A.W.Lymn would like to take this opportunity to reassure all of our clients that Jane’s activities have in no way impacted on them, as Jane stole directly from the company rather than from any of the families that we serve.
