At the Heart of every Rolls-Royce Motor Car from the nineteen fifties to 1998 is the six-and-three-quarter litre V8. It has been modified over the years and appears in our vehicles as an electronically fuel injected system, with active ride suspension, ABS and even a light turbo charger on the latest models.

Rolls-Royce were famous for only ever quoting performance and top speed fiqures as adequate, we are however fairly certain that this engine develops in the range of 400bhp, and is electronically limted at 155mph. The unit photographed is from a 1998 vehicle, and is fitted with a light pressure turbo. |
