St. Albans House, situated in Arnold, was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford, the president of the National Association of Funeral Directors at the time, and extended during late 2012. It is now run by Russell Kemp who has a very good knowledge of Arnold’s people, ministers, churches and customs. Russell gained his Diploma qualification with the National Association of Funeral Directors and is assisted by our funeral arranger Emma Stevenson. Beryl Spencer is the receptionist and administrator.
Our Arnold branch features a parking area, reception, two private reception rooms, two visitation rooms and also a visitation suite with an adjoining room where the family can spend time in private. We also have cold room facilities and a small memorial showroom.
Russell, Emma and Beryl will be more than pleased to offer any assistance you require, whether this is at need, or simply an enquiry for the future. The office is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. All our A W Lymn offices are also open at any time by appointment and our telephone line is available every day of the week, 24 hours a day.
This branch covers all of Arnold and the surrounding areas including Calverton, Daybrook, Epperstone, Killisick, Lambley, Lowdham, Oxton, Redhill, Woodthorpe and beyond.
A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose, who are keeping the family tradition in providing the best service for bereaved families since 1907.

"Hello Emma, Well I can’t thank you enough for a beautiful and incredibly moving funeral. Gedling Crematorium is a fabulous setting, and I found Aunty’s birth certificate which shows she was born just a mile up the road from her final resting place."
"All of the touch points, e.g. the pall bearers, the limousine drivers/pacers & Fr Neil. "
