FSC Oak coffins

The Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, nongovernmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. It was founded in 1993 in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy wood-labelling scheme.

FSC Oak of correct grade and widths is not always available in the timber market. Given this we may use an alternative Oak, proven sustainable, with similar accreditations.

The Country Range The Country Range oﬀers a selection of coﬃns and caskets which are made using sustainable materials, are readily biodegradable and are suitable for burial and cremation. All the coﬃns and caskets in this range come with a full interior of natural cotton, complete with pillow and frill. View The Country Range

Cardboard We offer a small range of cardboard coffins. View Cardboard

The Reflection Range A simple coffin covered with foil and printed to one of the many designs available in the Reflections Brochure. We usually fit four Rose handles and try to minimize the disruption by these to the chosen design. View The Reflection Range

Traditional Solid Hardwood Coffins A selection of solid timber coﬃns normally with plywood or softwood bases to prevent movement. Manufactured by traditional methods. View Traditional Solid Hardwood Coffins

The Last Supper Range A selection of coffins and caskets designed with a religious theme in mind. The range incorporates both a veneered and solid coffin and casket and each depicts the last supper on the outside. View The Last Supper Range

Traditional Solid Hardwood Caskets A selection of solid timber caskets normally with plywood or softwood bases to prevent movement. Manufactured, by hand, in Great Britain. View Traditional Solid Hardwood Caskets

Budget North American Caskets These caskets are imported in one size only – families must therefore be aware that they may not be large enough for all adult sizes. The metal caskets are only suitable for burial and some cemeteries will not allow them, however the Missouri is suitable for cremation. View Budget North American Caskets

American Wood Caskets These caskets are imported in one size only – families must therefore be aware that they may not be large enough for all adult sizes. Further, the wood caskets are too big to be accommodated at some crematoria and even when they are acceptable the sprung bed must be removed and replaced with a combustible bed. Each of these caskets includes the use of an automatic lowering device for the burial if requested. View American Wood Caskets

American Metal Caskets A selection of exceptional quality metal and solid wood American-style caskets which come with matching handles and high quality interiors. View American Metal Caskets

Prestige American Caskets These caskets are oﬀered as a range above our Wood and Metal American Style Caskets, and whilst we appreciate that they appeal to a limited number of our customers, they are shown to illustrate the extent of our range. These may not be kept in stock and delivery dates vary depending on whether they have to be shipped in from America. Children’s Coffins We have an entire range of coffins and caskets available which we usually use for the funeral of a child or young person under the age of 18. Each is individually manufactured on a bespoke basis, and as such a certain period is often needed to get the coffin or casket made. All of our other coffins and caskets can be ordered in smaller sizes, but time is needed for these to be specially made. View Children’s Coffins

Coffin Furniture The prices shown are to supply the furniture illustrated in place of the furniture shown on the photographs of the coffins in the wood effect and solid timber ranges and can also be used on the British Casket range. Where the handles will not fit the panels of any particular coffins in the range, this has been noted. With the exception of the H5 solid brass bars and the H12 metal brassed bars, all the fittings are available in a brassed finish (as illustrated) or in a nickel (chrome effect) finish.
